The gang decided to make the trip from NJ to Queens in support of our friend, Cutuy Here to, lead singer of the band, Key of C. The place used to be called, Promdi, back in the 2010s. The place has changed a bit, slightly different decor from the last time we were there. The atmosphere was more "bakya" than Kabayan (from across the street). Still nice. They kept the bar, which is good. The staff was friendly, but kind of rushed us to get our orders before the show started. They explained it would have been more difficult to take orders later. The food was really, really good. All the flavors were on point. For the appetizer, we had some Crispy Chicken Skins. It was nice and crispy, but it needed some more salt. We had the Port Belly Kare-Kare, Beef Salpicao, the Pancit Palabok, Laing and Gambas. The one that stole the show was the Bagnet. That was mind blowing! Very flavorful and I highly recommend it. Dare I say that the food was better than Kabayan. The Key Of C band rocked the whole night through. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the great music. It was such a fun-filled night. Definitely worth coming back to whether it's for the food or the music.

Our first experience wasn’t perfect. I made a reservation over the phone, but when we arrived, there were no tables available, so we had to leave and go somewhere else. But we decided to give it another try a few months later. I made another reservation and even mentioned what happened before. They reassured us, and this time when we arrived, they accommodated us right away, no issues at all. And I’m really glad we came back because it turned out to be such a great experience! The band was amazing, the vibe was so fun and lively, and people were dancing all ages, even older Filipino groups enjoying themselves. It felt like a real community. There were also different nationalities there just vibing together, which made it even better. The food is great too, but what I really love about this place is the energy the music, the crowd, and the overall experience. Definitely worth coming back for!!

Tried this spot instead of our usual Ihawan. It was for a party of 5: two adults, three children. Two of those children are toddlers. Staff is very nice; however their service was not good. We dined around 5:30p. Ordered 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, and 2 drinks. I was surprised that water was not offered when seated and when I asked we only received two glasses for a table of 5. That water was done within 5 mins and a refill was not offered. Towards the end of the meal, we were the only party left and intentionally waited to see if staff would notice or check on us. Unfortunately, they did not. While I give the food a great review because it was delicious and quintessential Filipino, their service needs more work. I would potentially order to pickup rather than dine-in since their service wasn't memorable.

There's a lot of restaurants in Woodside that serves Filipino food but this might be the only one that offers live music at certain nights. Food taste fresh and delicious, ambiance gives you the Manila KTV bar vibes. Entertainers had a good song set list. Bathroom wait can be frustrating, had to stand and go twice before catching an unoccupied bathroom. Food service was a little on a slow side on a Friday night.

My first review: This place is amazing, food was divine, service great. I recommend it so much! My second review: I took my Filipino friend out for dinner. Our food arrived in 5 minutes after ordering!!! I was so dissapointed with the quality of food! My sisig pork and bangus were soaking in tremendous amount of oil, it was not crispy at all!!! It was not fresh, more likely reheated! Even the fried lumpia was burned because was heated again-look at the photos! They were setting up for live music and kept putting music so load i couldn’t hear my friend! Therrible to spend over $100 for this dinner! I will not be back!
